YouthCAN conference registration opens March 17

Add to:

This year, the YouthCAN annual conference will take place from Tuesday, August 12 – Thursday, 14, 2025, at the Centennial College Event Centre and Centennial Place Residences (937 Progress Avenue, Scarborough, ON).

The theme for this event is Little Wins and Wonders, celebrating both the big and small successes and surprises in the lives of youth in and from care, while fostering meaningful connections.

YouthCAN is the flagship program of OACAS, focused on supporting young people in and from Ontario’s child welfare system. The mission of YouthCAN is to improve the lives of youth in care by serving as a strong, unifying voice for them. For over 10 years, OACAS has hosted an annual conference each summer, bringing together youth in care and child welfare staff to connect, learn, and have fun.

For more information, click here to watch the promotional video and share with your youth! Registration opens on Monday, March 17, 2025, for child welfare staff to complete on behalf of themselves and their eligible youth in and from care, 13 - 18 years of age.
